Does Anyone Know Of A Completley Free Host For A Wedding Website??

Posted by: the_boz  :  Category: Free Hosting

I want to make a wedding website. I googled “host wedding website free” and a million results came up but after checking into most of them it’s a two week free trial. Has anyone used a completley free website?? Thanks!

My fiancee and I chose to do our own website off of the wedding networks only because most of them charge and then end after a few weeks or so after your wedding. We chose http://www.freewebs.com, totally free forever. We posted everything we wanted and it has worked for us since we had it in May 2007.

We’re using http://www.mywedding.com and they are totally free and great! They have fabulous layouts, including ones that match weddingpaperdivas designs. Great if your a more contemporary bride.

I use googlepages.com. You have to have a google account. I use that account for everything wedding related so it all worked out perfect!

theknot.com is free, and they make it really easy to set up. You can make it personalized with the background. I also liked that I could use a password on it so that only the guests to the wedding can enter the parts of the site that explain the details of the wedding and the guest book. I created mine, then included the site and password on the save the date cards that I sent out.

I’m using http://www.freewebs.com. It’s pretty easy to use, and the good thing is that you can completely customize the pages you want to have. It’s not specifically for wedding websites, which is nice because then you can include things that are more personalized.
